From May 6- May 18 Coady’s artistic direction presided over 14 events over 13 Days. Coady performed at the piano in numerous events four hands with one or two pianos and renowned partners including Ian Munro, Jerry Wong, Kevin Tamanini and Glenn Riddle. Coady personally accompanied the Lyric Opera 3 song Cycles, The Parlour’s Immortal Beloved and Linda Kouvaris’s Gwen Harwood poems with Justin Kenealy on saxophone and Helen Morse narrating. Coady’s team of performers included Dimity Shepheard, Sally Anne Russell, Ricardo Roche Udini, and the Crossing Machine. World premieres included many arrangements of Beethoven by Czerny Saint-Sean’s and Liszt, and the thrilling Holst original score for The Planets for two pianos and percussion. A Triumph of virtuoso performance and breathtaking artistic direction. Thank you Coady.
